Post Glastonbury blues..

Sorry for the lack of posts this week but I’m finally back from Glastonbury and am back to having unlimited electricity and phone charge πŸ˜‚

As promised, I am going to share my Glastonbury experience with you all… It may have taken 13 hours to get in because of the torrential amount of mud due to weeks of rain before the event but it was SO worth every minute of that 13 hour queue.

I truly can’t find a way to put my weekend into words therefore I am just going to share photos with you all…

The atmosphere and the views were just unreal…

But my favourite moment of the weekend was watching Coldplay shut down the festival with their breathtaking performance. It is up there with one of the best things I’ve ever seen and I’m not a massive Coldplay fan but honestly they were incredible… From bringing on a BeeGee to the creativity of the performance, everything was just on point and the perfect way to send off Glastonbury 2016 and you can watch them here.

I am currently sitting on my sofa feeling very depressed about life as I’d do anything to be back in that muddy field! I highly recommend anyone to attend Glastonbury if you ever have the chance to as you will not be disappointed!!

GLASTONBURYYYYYYY

I know I haven’t posted in a few days but I have been a very busy bee over the weekend catching up with friends before I disappear for three weeks and getting ready for the first of my trips over the next 3 weeks which is….. GLASTOOOOO!!

The car is all packed and ready for the three and a half hour journey early in the morning 😁😁😁, just eating my last bowl of fruit before my burger van binge! When I get back on Monday I will make sure I share all my festival styles with you as well as my Glastonbury experience! Hopefully it’s not too much of a washout!

Every Inch Matters

Today I decided to try out a pair of ‘flatform’ shoes because I have never previously owned a pair before. I was never into the platform converse or creeper phase back in school, I didn’t care how short I was those shoes weren’t worth the added height for me! ButΒ Β recently I have noticed Kendall Jenner being a massive fan of Stella McCartney’s flatform shoes which I absolutely ADORE .Β Ever since I’ve been on the hunt for a similar styled pair on the high-street and this is where I found these beauties from Zara…

As you may or may not know I am very short, 4ft11 to be precise therefore it isn’t always easy achieving the look I want due to limited petite resources. Therefore for me every inch counts. Whether it be heels, platforms or flatforms adding a few inches can be so important to my style as it provides an elongated illusion to my legs.

As for my clothes… I decided to go for a kind of urban athleisure vibe due to the mix of my branded tee, cap and skinny jeans as athleisure has proved to be one of the best casual looks since 2010 and I am a massive fan of this look and love the fact that it can be mixed with less casual items like my shoes!

Zozo

So today I’ve spent the day shopping for fathers day and birthdays with my Mother, whom everyone knows as Zozo. The famous Zozo…. A basic summary of her would be; she always makes me look as pale as a ghost, she constantly copies me, she stalks me and all my friends on social media, she literally has her own abbreviated language but most of all she is nuts and everyone loves her for it.

Since I started my blog she has been so desperate to feature, so I thought today was the perfect opportunity to introduce her to you all… Mainly because I thought her outfit was pretty good today πŸ˜‚.

Today she is wearing a tan hat with a grey longline vest with leather trimmings paired with ripped skinnies and buckled sandals. Zozo has an obsession with hats she’s got about 10 of those hats in different colours so she pretty much wears them with every outfit.

Today I went for a simple pastel pink vest, alongside my pastel pink slip ons paired with some skinnies to channel my inner casual city chic. Finished off with some Candy K!

Moroccan Vibes

So today has been a partly productive day as I bought a tent for Glasto but my mood has been dampened (quite literally) with another very dull rainy day in the UK just adding to my worry for the weather next week at Glastonbury 😫.

Therefore I decided to add a bit of spice to my outfit today in order to attempt to cheer up this dismal day. I decided to wear a Moroccan inspired printed crop in order to add spice with this top featuring a tie up front, of which is very fashionable this season. I’ve paired this top with some ripped skinnies and some brown Chelsea boots to provide an effortless sense of style.

I think Ronnie (my cat) must’ve noticed my fury at this dismal weather in June as he decided to join in with my blogging…

However, he wouldn’t fully cooperate so I don’t see him becoming the next feline sensation any time soon πŸ˜‚

Vita Coco

Today I have had a really postive day and therefore I’ve decided to share one of my top beauty secrets with you all…

I live by this stuff for my hair and it can be bought in the condiments aisle in Tesco as well as shops like Urban Outfitters…

Taaa daaaaaa!

Vita Coco coconut oil is perfect for everything from beauty to cooking!! It has many purposes and makes a great mosturiser however the main reason I use this oil is for my hair…

This stuff is A M A Z I N G for hair. I always apply it to my hair the night before I wash it or if I don’t have time for that, I leave it on at least one hour before I wash it. It provides my hair with so much strength and has increased the shine of my hair especially in my blonde ombrΓ©!

As for the application, I leave my Vita Coconut in a room temperature environment so it doesn’t go rock hard but doesn’t melt this making it the right consistency for application. For my hair I scrape some of the oil out and massage it in until my whole head is covered. I apply extra to the ends of my hair and tie my hair up so it doesn’t soak into my clothes.

I then wash and blow dry my hair normally and I am left with healthy, clean, soft, silky and shiny hair.

It is also very long lasting and therefore worth the money! I’ve had this pot about 3 months and still have half left!

I really recommend you try this product out to keep your locks healthy this summer as the sun can be damaging to your hair.

Go get your Vita Coco oil here!!!

Tuck tuck tuck

So today I am absolutely shattered 😴, therefore I decided to keep my outfit casual with a basic tee and pair of skinnies.

I have tucked in one side of my tee, the half tucked look is very in at the moment and is perfect to style up any casual outfit…

My “Mermaids Don’t do Homework” tee really reflects my idgaf mood today and my round sunnies are the best way to hide my tired puffy eyes, every girls best friend ✌🏼️
