Warby Parker -Leith Clark Collection

GLASSES… where are my glasses? Probably something I say to myself everyday as I am your typical four eyed girl always crawling on the floor searching like Velma from Scooby Doo! When I was younger I used to despise the fact that I had to wear glasses so I never wore them and quite frankly made my eyesight worse by not doing so… However, I now embrace my so called ‘four eyes’ and I’d say glasses are one of my biggest fashion statements whether they’re my eyeglasses or a pair of sunglasses.

I LOVE GLASSES, I mean who doesn’t? They hide your face if you’re ever having a bad makeup day, they hide the bags under your eyes after a night out in the club or waking up from them ever so early 9am starts at work…

Warby Parker, an AMAZING glasses brand have recently collaborated with Leith Clark and I LOVE their new vintage inspired collection and to top it off this amazing company is donating a pair of glasses for every pair sold to an organisation called Girl Up – a United Nations Foundation which helps to promote the health, safety, education and leadership of girls in developing countries.

A/W16… Choker

One of the hit accessories this season is the Choker necklace and if you have been looking at my instagram posts recently you will have noticed that I am somewhat a fan of this latest fashion craze…

Blog chocker 1.jpg

The choker necklace was a very popular accessory back in the 90s and recently it has re-surfaced itself and became ever popular throughout SS16 and has now become a top hit for this winter.

Chokers have made a comeback with many different shapes, materials, patterns and colours. You can get cord ones, velevet ones, metal ones, beaded ones and even the elasticated ones that were ever so popular in the 90s!

I recently invested in this pack of 4 from Stradivarius… A shop that I am gutted I’ve only just found out about because I absolutely ADORE everything on their website and will definitely be visiting their London store next time I’m in town!! Check out their website here and here is a link to my chokers…

Fall is coming

Fall dawns upon us as the leaves are starting to fall off the trees and the bitter air is slowly starting to consume the summer breeze – therefore the coats are slowly making their way out onto shop floors.

However if you’re like me and can’t bare to let go of summer and all the cute little lace vests and slip dresses you’ve recently invested in there is a way to keep these items alive during this fall season… A trend so simple all you have to do is invest in a tiny tee…

THE SLIP DRESS… an infamous wardrobe classic that never goes out of fashion – therefore all the more reason to invest if you do not already own one and heres some of my favourites you can get your hands on…

THE TINY TEE – the piece that keeps your summer buys alive this fall… The tee doesn’t have to be white it can be any colour (that goes with the dress). Here are my top picks…

Every Inch Matters

Today I decided to try out a pair of ‘flatform’ shoes because I have never previously owned a pair before. I was never into the platform converse or creeper phase back in school, I didn’t care how short I was those shoes weren’t worth the added height for me! But  recently I have noticed Kendall Jenner being a massive fan of Stella McCartney’s flatform shoes which I absolutely ADORE . Ever since I’ve been on the hunt for a similar styled pair on the high-street and this is where I found these beauties from Zara…

As you may or may not know I am very short, 4ft11 to be precise therefore it isn’t always easy achieving the look I want due to limited petite resources. Therefore for me every inch counts. Whether it be heels, platforms or flatforms adding a few inches can be so important to my style as it provides an elongated illusion to my legs.

As for my clothes… I decided to go for a kind of urban athleisure vibe due to the mix of my branded tee, cap and skinny jeans as athleisure has proved to be one of the best casual looks since 2010 and I am a massive fan of this look and love the fact that it can be mixed with less casual items like my shoes!

  • T-Shirt – Ralph Lauren
  • Jeans – Topshop

Moroccan Vibes

So today has been a partly productive day as I bought a tent for Glasto but my mood has been dampened (quite literally) with another very dull rainy day in the UK just adding to my worry for the weather next week at Glastonbury 😫.

Therefore I decided to add a bit of spice to my outfit today in order to attempt to cheer up this dismal day. I decided to wear a Moroccan inspired printed crop in order to add spice with this top featuring a tie up front, of which is very fashionable this season. I’ve paired this top with some ripped skinnies and some brown Chelsea boots to provide an effortless sense of style.

I think Ronnie (my cat) must’ve noticed my fury at this dismal weather in June as he decided to join in with my blogging…

However, he wouldn’t fully cooperate so I don’t see him becoming the next feline sensation any time soon 😂

  • Top – Brandy Melville
  • Jeans – Topshop
  • Boots – Topshop
