Fall is coming

Fall dawns upon us as the leaves are starting to fall off the trees and the bitter air is slowly starting to consume the summer breeze – therefore the coats are slowly making their way out onto shop floors.

However if you’re like me and can’t bare to let go of summer and all the cute little lace vests and slip dresses you’ve recently invested in there is a way to keep these items alive during this fall season… A trend so simple all you have to do is invest in a tiny tee…

THE SLIP DRESS… an infamous wardrobe classic that never goes out of fashion – therefore all the more reason to invest if you do not already own one and heres some of my favourites you can get your hands on…

THE TINY TEE – the piece that keeps your summer buys alive this fall… The tee doesn’t have to be white it can be any colour (that goes with the dress). Here are my top picks…

Augustttt

Now August has arrived summer seems to have disappeared! However yesterday the sun was shining and it was a perfect opportunity for a costal walk and an ice cold mango juice because I’m in love with the mango ☀️☀️☀️.

I have always loved the beach. However, when I was younger I tended to complain about my hometown as there was never really much to do however days like this and living part time in a city makes me appriciated how lucky I am to live on the coast as the views can be so beautiful!

Due to my love for animals and the beach recently I have become an ambassador for a company called Sand Cloud… The sell the cutest beach towels and every single purchase helps save ocean and marine life!

I have a personal reward code for 25% off, which I can share with abou all if you are interested in supporting marine life as well as buying a dope towel!!! The code is: LilyW25 so get ordering!!!

Anyway… Here’s my outfit of the day for you all….

I decided to go for a simple all black outfit which I paired my distress denim shorts with a lattice black body and dressed it down with a pair of havaianas.

Bohoooo chic

Hello my lovelies!!

Is anyone else from the UK adoring this fabulous weather that we have at the minute 😍😍😍.

Weather like this is what makes me appreciate living on the coast as I can visit the beach anytime that I want and go out on the boat whenever I want. So over the past week in this glorious weather I had to pop down to the beach for a little stroll because there’s nothing better than a fresh coastal breeze and here is my ootd for you all!

With 25+ degrees I thought it was perfect to whip out these yellow boho tied shorts as they’re light weight and breezy! Plus the perfect colour for this weather! I just matched them up with a simple tie front grey vest to provide a boho chic look

As for my hair I decided to try out the space bun look which has become very popular recently and I loved it as it really finished off my look!

Pokemon GO!

Hello my loves!

Has anyone else been sucked into the world of Pokemon go because I know I have! Pokemon was my childhood I had all the merch. But I always wanted to be like Ash and catch my own Pokemon, therefore I absolutely love this game and I think it is a brilliant idea as it has turned everyone’s childhood dreams into a virtual reality and now I have my very own Pikachu 💅🏽💅🏽

That’s enough of my nerdy Pokemon fan girl here’s my ootd for you all!

So for my day of catching Pokemon I decided to wear a simple red floral floppy dress. I absolutely love this dress as it sits perfectly and is so lightweight and comfy, therefore perfect for Pokemon hunting 😉. I paired this dress with a pair of gold sandals and tied my hair in a simple pony tail.

PARDY PARDY

So this weekend my boyfriend threw a birthday party of which I attended and it was the first time we’ve caught up with people since we got back from Glastonbury and Mallorca so of course we got the inevitable questions of “how was Glastonbury” & “how was your holiday” from each and every individual. But what’s better than catching up with friends over music, drinks and pizza!

The party was more of a casual gathering therefore I thought a sheer pink vest (which is actually my mums) paired with ripped skinnies and heeled sandals was perfect for the occasion!

As for glam I went for Candy K on the lips with benefits ‘beautiful eyes’ kit on my eye and hoola mixed with rockstar on the cheeks. I also discovered the power of a Lumee case and now I’ve decided that I NEED one ASAP! Unfortunately I forgot to save the Lumee photos from my snapchat so I can’t share them with you, rookie error I know 👎🏼.

Bake bake bake bake bake bake

As you all know last week it was my boyfriends 22nd birthday whilst we was in Mallorca so yesterday I decided to chill out and bake a cake! Bit late I know but it was impossible to take/bake a cake in Spain!!

Here’s the outcome:

Chocolate fudge cake is everyone’s favourite in my household so that’s what I made. And instead of icing I smothered it in a tub of Nutella topped off with cadburys new “wini eggs” 😜😜.

As this is still a fashion blog I’ll share my baking outfit with you all…

Just a simple pair of black skinnies and stripey tee… My favourite effortless style for the daytime!

Upmarket flannels

So as I said in my last post I’m home and it’s back to usual business with my blog!

First of all I was hoping that the weather would be half decent in the UK so I could show off my tan in shorts and a tshirt but no. How wrong was I, the rain hasbeen torrential all morning 😒. Meaning I’ve had to bring back out some winter pieces.

Plaid flannel shirts are a personal must have in the wardrobe as they seem to always stay in fashion and can feature in any outfit as the main focus piece or simply as an accessory tied around the waist!

Today I have decided to wear my plaid flannel shirt as the centre piece of my outfit with it done up like a shirt instead of worn as a jacket or around the waist. I’ve combined the shirt with a light pair of skinnies and heeled sandals, to contrast and brighten up the darkness of the shirt as after all it is supposed to be summer 😂!

I decided to try out the half up half down bun hairstyle as I am a massive fan of half up half down but I rarely incorporate a bun into the style, however with it being such an in hair trend this season I decided it would go perfectly with my look!
